Yes. Our entire fleet consists of modern, specialized vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts or ramps. We are a leading provider of wheelchair transportation on Long Island, designed to accommodate standard, oversized, and motorized wheelchairs with ease.

To ensure the highest level of punctuality and vehicle availability, we strongly recommend booking your ride in advance. Most of our clients schedule their trips 24 to 48 hours ahead of time. However, we always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests based on our daily schedule.

Safety is our absolute priority. Our protocols include:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Rigorous daily inspections and scheduled mechanical servicing.
  • Sanitization: Each vehicle is cleaned and disinfected daily.
  • Securement: Multi-point locking systems for all wheelchairs to ensure stability during transit.
  • Compliance: We strictly adhere to all New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations.

For the best experience, we recommend scheduling your ride as soon as your medical appointment is confirmed. Ideally, this is at least 2 days in advance. For recurring trips, such as dialysis, we can set up a standing schedule to take the guesswork out of your weekly routine.

Coverage for NEMT varies significantly between providers and individual plans. We work with various private pay arrangements including Medical Answering Service (MAS) and can provide the necessary documentation for insurance reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider or our office directly to verify coverage details for your specific trip.
